Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Zeninvo (“Zeninvo”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use https:/zeninvo.com.
1. Who we are
Zeninvo provides invoicing software for freelancers and small businesses. For privacy-related questions, contact hi@zeninvo.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), organisation name, currency, tax rate, and profile photo if you upload one.
- Business data you enter: client names and contact details, saved items/products, invoice content, payment records, custom templates, and logos you upload.
- Shared invoice data: when you email an invoice or share a link, recipients may see the invoice content you chose to expose.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and server logs used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
- Communications: support messages and emails sent through the platform on your behalf.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the invoicing service
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Generate PDF invoices and deliver emails you request
- Display public or private invoice links according to your settings
- Generate optional AI dashboard insights from aggregated invoice statistics
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
Where applicable, we process personal data based on:
- Contract: to provide the service you signed up for
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, and service improvement
- Consent: where required, such as optional marketing communications if we offer them
- Legal obligation: when we must retain or disclose information by law
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with:
- Infrastructure providers that host the application, database, and file storage under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
- Email delivery providers used to send invoices and account-related messages you initiate
- AI service providers when optional dashboard insights are generated from aggregated invoice statistics
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by valid legal process
6. Public & private invoice links
Invoices marked public can be viewed by anyone with the link. Invoices marked private require the correct access key. You control visibility and sharing. Treat private links and access keys as confidential.
7. Cookies & similar technologies
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and protect your account. The authenticated app does not use third-party advertising cookies. Our public marketing pages do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.
8. Data retention
We retain your account and invoice data while your account is active. You can delete individual invoices and delete your entire account from Account settings. After deletion, residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, access controls, password hashing, and tenant isolation so each user’s data is separated. No online service can guarantee absolute security—use a strong password and protect invoice share links.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where our hosting and service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Export your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email hi@zeninvo.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
12. Children
Zeninvo is not intended for users under 16 years of age.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top when we do. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
